Couldn't help but notice Bob Barker's picture on the cover of "The Globe" in the checkout aisle today, sporting a headline about "Barker replaced by someone 50 years his junior".  Inside there's a full page article claiming Mario Lopez will be the next host of TPIR.  I must say it wasn't the most ridiculous article I've ever read... Bob's photo was dwarfed by the top story about Regis Philbin's secret health crisis.

Oh, and a 61-year-old grandmother in Scotland gave birth to 3 healthy Labradoodle puppies.

My guess is that Lopez's "people" were pushing him the way that Dave Price's "people" were pushing him.  Lopez just doesn't have the same connections.

Careful, though.  In the category of "weird stuff that might happen", Lopez getting this gig isn't nearly at the top of the list.
