Upcoming Primetime Airings of Interest

From a reliable "little birdie"...here's a quick reference guide to upcoming game show airings. Of course, this will probably go out of date as soon as I hit "post," but here it is anyway. My source ends 6/29.

ABC:

National Bingo Night: premieres Fri 5/18, 9-10p, runs until the end of June in same time slot.
Dancing With The Stars: season finale Mon 5/21 8-9p, Tues results 5/22 8-10p

CBS:

TAR All-Stars: season finale Sun 5/6 8-9p (like last season, only one hour)
Survivor Fiji: season finale and results show Sun 5/13 8-11p
TPiR MDS: Wed 5/16 8p
Bob Barker (Celebration Special): Thu 5/17 8p
Daytime Emmys: Fri 6/15 9-11p

NBC:
Identity: runs new episodes every Fri 8-9p until 4/27, which is the "season finale"
1 vs 100: repeats only returning to the schedule on 5/25 until the end of June
Deal (new episodes): 4/8 9p, 4/9 8p, 4/16 9p, 4/22 9p, 4/23 8p, 4/30 8p, 5/6 8p (listed as Sunday season finale), 5/7 8p, 5/14 8p, 5/21 8p (Monday season finale)
Deal (repeats): 4/15 8-10p (two one hours), 5/29 8p, 6/18 8p
America's Got Talent: premieres 5/29 9p, runs every Tuesday after at 8p (2 hours each airing!)

Fox:

Smarter/5th Grader: Thu at 8p every week until 5/10, where it looks like an (unmarked) season finale
Other various reality shows return this summer. (Hell's Kitchen, So You Think You Can Dance, etc.)

Thought that might come in handy for some.

One of the most amazingly sensible things NBC did last year was to actually take DoND off the schedule for a little while and make its fans miss it.  Looks like they're going to do it again.  That, plus the fact that they've pretty much held the line at two and occasionally three-a-week airings proves to me that they learned something from the failure of Millionaire.  The ratings have held up nicely all season, so they must be doing something right.

Nice to see 1vs100 (even in repeats) will be back on the schedule for a little while, starting in May. That has been my version of appointment TV recently, until another certain mediocre GS stole its spot...

Also, let me second that comment by Mr. Ottinger. NBC definitely has learned something from the Millionaire debacle. 2 times a week is enough for DoND, and any more would really start to be overkill. My only irk is that the two nights NBC puts it on shouldn't be right on top of one another, but then again, what do I know... :-/

I agree. No matter how obnoxious the show can be at times, the ratings show people STILL watch. Overexposure can take a once-revered show down the tubes in no time, so I laud NBC for taking this action.

/it's definitely making me sweat for Heroes, so the system does work.
