Made even better by the fact that Ebay makes it terribly inconvenient to report an auction like this to the authorities to be taken down. (Yes, I tried.) Because, you know, we wouldn't want to possibly make them have to refund user fees.

My feeling is that if you're dumb enough to post an auction such as that, you don't deserve a refund of your user fee.

Sadly, if some people bite on it (and rest assured, there are morons on Ebay who will bite on it), he's no longer dumb (since he turned a profit for minimal work), just a slimeball.

I'm hoping you do realize he knows very well what a scam he's running and don't think he thinks he's selling a legitimate service.

I'm actually contemplating purchasing this item. I'm real curious to know what information he has that I might be able to learn from.

It costs me $3.50 to rent a comedy from Blockbuster, I'd say this is just as much fun.
