I saw GSN's rerun of the 1957 To Tell the Truth episode in which Kitty Carlisle made her debut as a panelist, and pioneering rock & roll DJ Alan Freed was one of the subjects.

The end credits for that episode were rolled on an off-studio crawl, but by later in the show's original CBS run, they were superimposed over a studio shot of the host, panelists and contestants mingling; Gil Fates would call it the "mill-around".  Anybody know when the mingling started?

Sometime in the early 60s, about the time Bruno Zirato became producer and Paul Alter started directing the show.
