Is that the result of a recent Emmy nomination?  Are there new episodes?

The ep. I caught last night carried a 2006 copyright, so I'm guessing not yet.

Cool that they're showing it more, even if it is reruns. This is another fun little show that I'd love to see in syndication, maybe once a week. Just up the money a little more.

I've seen several episodes with a 2007 copyright, so yes, the new ones are being rolled out.  And in addition to the new Wednesday 10/9 slot, Discovery's been doing double-runs at 11/10 Thursdays the past few weeks.  It's great to see this show getting a push after Ben Bailey's Emmy nod, and hopefully another order of 80 episodes is forthcoming shortly.

I love this game.  The premise is simple and brilliantly executed.  And isn't it great to watch people get just as excited (and in a more genuine fashion) winning $400 as others would winning $400,000 on one of the bloated, drawn-out, network screamfests?

What's the record for most money won on the show?
What's the record for most money won on the show?
I think it's $2,200 or so. A team had a long cab ride, no wrong answers, a successful Red Light Challenge and then doubled uo.

And I agree, I see no good reason to increase the stakes. A few hundred dollars for a few minutes of work is just fine; plus the game is interesting enough that it doesn't need the crutch. I think the whole package is fine as is.

With the gas prices outta control, they may have to cut the prize money or produce the show at a deficit. Even if you only win 10 bucks, the entertainment value is there.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

This website, Newyorkgasprices.com shows me you can fill up in Brooklyn for around $3.199. If you figure a 17 gallon gas tank, that is a total of $54.38.  I seriously doubt you think a major cable network is going to be worried about splurging for that $54.

Agreed, especially since the cab ride (however long it ends up being) is free.  Even quick losers get 10 minutes off their feet and 8 minutes on television.

Is there something to be said here for less money and more spontaneity? Are shows Like Cash Cab and Price successful because the people they select are just happy to be a contestant, as opposed to the big money nighttime shows where the contestants are more prepped and expecting a shot at massive cash?
Moreso even for Cash Cab, because these people don't even know they could be on a game show?

Look at WML during the Blyden years.  The only thing you got was some Sarah Coventry and a few minutes on TV---and people loved it.

Has there ever been an episode with NO money won at all?
