Family Feud, PYL, and TPiR all performed respectably at retail based on the licenses alone.  As much as I love KG, I doubt her presence will lure in new customers that don't know the show.
I can name at least two friends who are obsessed with Kathy Griffin to a very unhealthy degree.  If I told them about this, they'd probably be all over it.  Just because someone's on the D-List doesn't mean they don't have any fans.

There's also the simpler truth that the other three weren't celebrity-driven shows, while Hollywood Squares is.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

Quick Update: June 14th has passed, and no sign of the Price is Right app on Facebook.

Fact To Make You Feel Old: Just about every contestant who appears in a Price is Right Teen Week episode from here on out has only known a world where Drew Carey has been the host.

And for those who didn't know or don't remember, Wipeout is coming out for Wii and DS next Tuesday, coinciding with its season premiere.

Rich Fields mentioned in his Twitter Monday that it was coming out "VERY soon."

Two things.  I'm surprised that the emphasis is on the "very" instead of the "soon" and "very soon" is still subjective.  I say over/under is 7/1 and I'll take the over.

Now in the iTunes App Store is Wheel of Fortune Platinum, the second version of the Wheel iPhone games and boy, is it an improvement. It features fully customizable contestant characters, very updated and improved graphics and sounds now taken direct from the TV show (as opposed to the midis found in the previous game.) It also has rules true to the latest season, such as the inclusion of Free Play. While the wheel is now prettier, it's also one of the more aggravating parts of the game as the clicking sound gets really annoying really quickly and it moves fairly slowly, no matter how hard you spin it. Unfortunately, the "TV show mode" still has only three main game rounds with no fourth round or third toss-up. But here's the best feature: Multipllay! You can either play with your friends in a pass-n-play mode, or do it via network play! Yep, that's right, if you have an internet connection you can play Wheel Platinum against others online. Overall, this looks like a lot of fun it really has a lot of future playability.

Just network, or will that work over Bluetooth as well? (For that matter do you even NEED the connection? Couldn't they just connect over WiFi directly?)

Is it first-gen, then? The second-gen ones forward have Bluetooth capabilities as well.

(My capability is limited by my lack of desire for usage.) :)

Did anyone spot any new Buzz! PS3 announcements coming out of E3?  With the question packs available now, they may not be doing a new disc every year...

Well, even before the home game has been released, Minute To Win It has released a FREE Summer Activity Guide. Basically, it's a PDF explaining all of the game's rules (plus new ones that are premiering this season), as well as suggestions on how to accommodate teams or multiple players. The link is HERE. Forget the home game...this is what the show needed to release.

While on the subject, I was in Barnes and Noble the other day, and for the first time saw the new sixth edition of Password from EG.  The price was about $15!
