IGN has more info, including verifying that this is a Ludia effort. The release date is November 9, 2010.
I think this is a pretty unique idea.
And the box art on IGN's website isn't bad, either. This is probably the only Feud release that would benefit from recreating old stages/sets. So I wonder how this will work; will a single game feature questions from the entire bank, or would you have to play the game by "decade", where each match takes on a different era?
Fact To Make You Feel Old: Just about every contestant who appears in a Price is Right Teen Week episode from here on out has only known a world where Drew Carey has been the host.

You forgot the 2006 version of Feud with classic set recreations by Global Star Software.

Thanks for saying what I was thinking; besides, I said the only one that would BENEFIT from it....if they're gonna recycle old questions from the 70s and 80s, might as well go all out and recreate the sets. The 3d rendering (I assume...I could be wrong) of the set in their last game could be partly recycled to recreate the old sets, but I'm just curious to see how they pull this decades thing off.

Going back for a sec....I actually appreciated that Global Star tried to do something a little different, like adding the sets. It's something you don't see every day, and it's one of those rare "fan service" nods in game show video games (I think they recreated EVERY set up to that point, including Dawson '94, with appropriate introductions). Too bad that the sets were too hard to unlock, the graphics were blocky, and the answer recognition system was wonky, among other things.

From that same press release:
Quote
DEAL OR NO DEAL 2011 ANNIVERSARY EDITION

Also in partnership with NBC Universal and Endemol USA, Zoo will offer an anniversary edition of Deal or No Deal in September 2010 on the Nintendo WiiTM and DSTM platforms. The original title, which was released in June 2007 on the DSTM platform and in January 2009 on the WiiTM platform, has sold over one million units. The anniversary edition offers similar broad family appeal.

Nuke it to space.

This game has *potential* on the Wii with the motion controls to do some neat stuff.  Note that I said potential - I expect it to be garbage.

They also mention a Deal or No Deal game too by the end of the year - so that's 8 games getting released.

EDIT:  Beaten to the punch (look up).

When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

This is such a sure bet, even the British won't take prop bets on it.

I assume that FF Decades will do the same thing the last Ludia games did and not support Miis? I never understood why they never implemented such a feature.

Are you defending their choice with regards to Miis?
