Ah, me too. For some reason, I can never pass up an old copy of Password.

If there's a Savers thrift store near you, they're the best. The one where I live has a huge shelf of old/new/rare board games priced between $2 and $5, and the stock changes about every 3 days. A board game shopper's dream.

I was curious, so today I went to the local (Sioux Falls) Savers.

Yep, they had one. (15th edition).

I didn't buy it, but I laughed.

As typical with these casual games, it didn't launch on the 7th.

I pre-ordered it a week ago from Amazon along with Hollywood Squares. It tells me that the estimated ship date is Sept. 13, and both product pages are saying it usually ships within 2 to 5 weeks.

Amazon always used the '2 to 5 weeks' shipping moniker for when the company says a product is going to be released, and they don't have any stock of it. These games are in such low demand, that they sometime slip their ship date.

Amazon now tells me that both the Hollywood Squares and Millionaire PC games will be shipped sometime between 10/4-10/17. It looks like they'll be out around the same time the Wii and DS games are released.

Fixed it for you.  Most large e-commerce sites get their product details from 3rd parties.

Thanks for the tip, I was looking to see if any other online store was carrying them. However now I have an interesting yet ultimately trivial dilemma. Do I cancel my Amazon order so that I can get the games faster from Newegg? I used a gift certificate on my Amazon order which I can always use later, and both stores will ship them for free. However, Newegg being based in California charges me CA sales tax, while Amazon being based in Seattle doesn't.........at least for now.

For those who are getting Wheel and Jeopardy for the Wii...my Walmart has the Wii Speak add-on for $17 on clearance (from $30).
When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

For those of you who own an iPad, The Price is Right and Press Your Luck have been released today with a sale price of $4. Feud has been up there for some time, but for a fiver.
Fact To Make You Feel Old: Just about every contestant who appears in a Price is Right Teen Week episode from here on out has only known a world where Drew Carey has been the host.

That's cute and all, but I'd still rather go with the 100-page PDF NBC posted over the summer, a trip to Dollar Tree, and this.
"Speed: it made Sandra Bullock a household name, and costs me over ten thousand a week."

Good News!
Amazon.com has it in stock now (they have the "Only 1 left in stock--order soon (more on the way)." quote on the H2 page, not sure on the Millionaire one). And Encore's site is now selling the games as well with preview pics on the site.

Yeah, I was shocked too...

http://www.amazon.com/Deal-No-Special-Nint...6164&sr=1-4

And it's a "Special Edition." This is one of those games where I think Ludia can do well on. As for Zoo, I don't know.
