And the format, it seems. The first pic appears to show the 6-in-20 change, and the Donnymid logo can be seen at the bottom-left.

Aaaaand Ubisoft/Ludia is still using the stupid avatars and scenarios. *headdesk*

I really like how they switched to the classic Pyramid logo, just to try to make it relevant to a larger audience because Donnymid hasn't been on the air in a while. So the logo and set don't match. :lesigh:

Although you do get the same celebrity partner all week.

Hate to ask, but what is the give clues/response format?  Is it typing out using an on screen keyboard in solo mode?  That strikes me as a bit klunky, to say the least.

/would love someone to get a Shatner-resembling character.  Or Jackée.

And if you'd rather deal with marauding hordes than pay full retail, Walmart's offering Wheel as a $10 doorbuster on Black Friday.

Small difference: the "big deals" are at 5AM.  These deals aren't as good and start at 12:01AM.  Less chance of trampling.  I live only a couple miles from a Walmart...might go pick it up.
When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

Aaaaand now Ubisoft is following the Ludia blueprint of using stupid avatars and scenarios. *headdesk*

Wonder if they'll have the tournament where nobody actually wins the million (for authenticity, of course).

And given their reputation, the crappy judging is a given, right?

If you're like me and couldn't get the images of Ludia's Pyramid to load on IGN, I've got them here on Imageshack.

Those images don't give me positive encouragement that this game will be any good. And that's saying something, considering I've played both $100,000 Pyramid games and had complaints of each version.

If I had the scene From Wayne's World, where Wayne & Garth start to shoot there 1st live broadcast episode that was raped by Rob Lowe, and they're in shock(and possibly disgust) I'd upload it to YouTube (For a short time) then link to here. just to show how I feel about what I just witnessed in those pics... I'll be happy with the "TR" version TYVM!

/Is it me or does every time you see a "Ludian" , You want to punch your screen?

Well, if there's any other good news to come from this, it's that we can expect 612387490874 ports of this. And that's good, since I've been wanting to play Pyramid on my iPhone/Macbook/microwave/digital camera for a long time.

Go to Ludia's website and click the link to the new "$1,000,000 Pyramid" game, and you'll see in now shows the full "Donnymid" set shot, with the "$1,000,000 Pyramid" logo in the monitors:

The first game was not technologically sound enough to be much more than a party game where you use the computer monitor for clues, but I thought the 2001 effort was pretty sound- what did you see wrong with that one?

Fact To Make You Feel Old: Just about every contestant who appears in a Price is Right Teen Week episode from here on out has only known a world where Drew Carey has been the host.
