In fairness, it's not like a game along the lines of The Price Is Right uses a whole lot of numbers.  Also, math is hard.

You'd think Ludia made enough money to buy batteries for the calculator.

Or buy a new one entirely....

You'd think. Lord knows they're not spending it on product development.

I got the $16K win my first time playing It's In The Bag... and the game added $30,000 to my total.

You won the $2,000. You won the $4,000. You won the $8,000 and you won the $16,000. It makes complete sense.

Unless you've watched the Price is Right.

There's no $1,000 prize?
If you didn’t create it, it isn’t your content.

There is, but they forgot to carry the WTF.

It would tickle me, while not surprise me in the least, if this actually ended up being the logic for this decision, mainly because...

There's no $1,000 prize?
...it would prove they can't even add.

There's no $1,000 prize, because they continued to do the grocery item games with one less item. So all of the available prizes would add up to $30,000.

It feels like I've seen this movie before, except you replace dippy game show game with music. I'd much rather support the work of people who actually put some sweat equity into an enterprise than give a company money for an incomplete program. Give me $20/$30/$50 of content, and I'll pay that. Skimp and I won't. iTunes and Amazon get my money, Ludia doesn't.
If you didn’t create it, it isn’t your content.

Then I retract my statement. In this case, they can do math, they just can't do research. :)

Don't know if this was mentioned before, but LMAD now has a Facebook game...and they apparently got Wayne to agree to use his image for it too...

Hey guys a question about Family Feud 2012 for Xbox and/or Wii.
Should I pick this one up or just pass on it?

Definitey pass. Somehow, the quality went DOWN compared to the 2010 version.

/I don't have Decades, so I can't compare to that.

I've been watching vids of similar Ludia games. Some by "Loggaroo"  about PYL and Million Dollar Pyramid to warrant a pass. Now that I see the new games has ditched the "Ludians" for Wii's Miis and X360 avs, that'd get one thinking oh the game's got better. But I don't wanna bank on pretty graphics just to have a crap game. I'll leave it to game play to determine that.

So I guess a pass then.

Decades is 2010 with three extra sets (and era-specific questions). I see Decades more as an add-on than a brand new game, so if it's just about the same price as the 2010 edition, buy Decades.

Fact To Make You Feel Old: Just about every contestant who appears in a Price is Right Teen Week episode from here on out has only known a world where Drew Carey has been the host.
