Be on the lookout for future iToys games too.  Their Price is Right game is forthcoming, as well as Password and Press Your Luck.  More info on that is coming when it gets closer to the Fall.  Wish I had more info for you, but at least this is something, eh?

Deluxe?  Does this mean we won't have to write in our own answers anymore?

EDIT: THIS is my 200th post?!?!  Sheesh.

Yes, based on what I have heard, that is exactly what that means.

The Deluxe version has the Plastic board the original versions from MB had.

Where'd you hear about Password and Press Your Luck from iToys?  That sounds great!

If you click the following link, and proceed to page 23, you'll see a full page promo for iToys' Family Feud electronic tabletop, as well as their electronic TPIR, featuring the Big Wheel, Hole-In-One, and Plinko:

http://www.toyassociation.org/AM/PDFs/TFT_Day4.pdf

Endless Games' mini versions of game, mentioned earlier, are going to be called "Quick Picks," and apparently the $100,000 Pyramid card game is going to be called $1,000,000 Pyramid, at least from a prototype I saw on page 20 of this link:

(I don't know if you were being sarcastic or not.  If so, sorry, it's been a long day.  If you weren't, whoops.)

From, uh, iToys.  I do promotions with them on my site occasionally and have a nice relationship with them.

Is iToys a part of Fisher-Price now? Is there a weeble-wobble of Drew included?

Or maybe a Play Family--er, Little People set. After all, look how that freckle-faced kid with the ballcap on sideways turned out.

/actually, scratch that . . . it's a recall waiting to happen

Speak for yourself... I will be the first in line when that comes out.  An actual mini Plinko board?  Phenomenal.  And the PYL game will hopefully be just as awesome.  This is the sort of stuff I wish they'd had back in the 80s.

The iToys Feud tabletop game is going used on Amazon for as low as $1.99.  At that price, it almost seems too good to be true.  The few reviews I've read aren't exactly glowing.  Lots of talk about question recycling.  For those of you who have tried it, is it worth any price?

[/quote]I suspect you are going to find that Plinko works much less well when it's really scaled down and the chips drop at the speed of light. Ditto the Wheel, which will not have that slow-rolling reveal that works so well on the show.

I'll pick one up when it's on clearance. Based on past history, it'll be on clearance soon enough.

Somewhat higher hopes here. This could be done well...if they decide they want to do it well.

Spoken like a true game show home game collector. Wait it out and in 3 months it will be in your price range.

More news from the GSHGHP as of last week:

A board game based on Discovery Channel's "Cash Cab"
A DVD game based on GSN's "Lingo"
A handheld electronic game based on "Power of 10"
An electronic game based on "Moment of Truth"

Are all currently in development.

Walmart's online site apparently has the new Plug 'N Play version of AYSTA5G, but only a "limited," number of stores themselves have it in stock.
