The reason for that is because it's TWO different games! The one at Target is the one from Cardinal Industries, selling for around $10.
The Hasbro game, due out later this summer, has a price tag of around $20, and has a different type of lie detector (described as a "Biometric lie detector, which measures your body temperature and stress level).

Unless the company has been "reincarnated," It folded back in the late 1980s, and their most popular games--Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit were acquired by Milton Bradley and Parker Brothers, respectively, which are now both part of Hasbro.
