An article in the "Herald-Sun" here in Melbourne is heading rumours that "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire" may be returning to the small screen here sometime later this year. This has not been confirmed by the Nine Network or network CEO Eddie McGuire (who has also been raised as the possible host).
I'd be curious to know whether Millionaire and the other big hit game show "1 vs 100" will air simultaneously, or whether one format will be rested to cater for the other. Either way - I'm very excited at the prospect of its resurrection.
