The Miss America don't call it the P-word anymore is going on in Atlantic City, hurricane or not, and there is a game show connection (other than Tom Bergeron hosting)!
You might remember Nancy Amanda Redd, who won $250,000 in the dying days of the Regis ABC version of WWTBAM (Feb. 2002). She won Wednesday night's swimsuit competition as Miss Virginia. (She told missamerica.org that her Miss America appearance inspired one of her friends to lose 100 pounds!)
Can we see Nancy win something on ABC for the second time in two years? We (hopefully) will find out Saturday night!
