Beat the Clock or Weakest Link?

In the area where I live, I get Beat the Clock at 5:30 PM CDT on my local PAX station (This is the recent Gary Kroger version, though for a time TV Guide put in as INACCURATE LISTINGS celebrities from the 1969-1974 syndication Beat the Clock era).

In my area, it's whatever was on The WB at 8:30 ET last night (in tonight's case, a repeat of Gilmore Girls).

 And here, it's the 6:30 news.  Yes, a PAX affiliate actually has live 6:30 and 10 PM newscasts.

 I remember that my local PAX affiliate was rebroadcasting my local NBC affiliate's 6 pm newscast at 7 pm...they might still be doing it, I haven't checked.
