I was on the Saved By The Bell portion of the jumptheshark website and it mentioned that Dennis Haskins who played Mr. Belding was a contestant on Scrabble. I don't remember seeing the episode, but does anyone know when it was in the show's run and how he did?

If my memory serves me right, he won 3 games and won $5,000.

When Dennis was a contestant on Scrabble, I think he was introduced as a "seat-filler" at awards shows.
