I'm certainly not going to complain because I can turn off signatures if I want to, and someone saying "This is a spiffy Bible passage, and you ought to read it" is fairly mild, compared to "ALLAH AKBAR YOU WILL PAY FOR YOUR INSOLENCE SCRABBLE AND SALE OF THE CENTURY ARE BEING BOGARTED BY GSN JUST TO TAUNT THE FANS ALL YOUR BASES LOADED BELONG TO US"
Or something. Wow. That spiraled out of control in a hurry. Anyway, I don't have a problem with it. Is the problem more that it pertains to religion at all, or one that you don't follow?

I'm impressed.[/quote]I don't like the idea of setting a precedent where people are lauded for doing what they're supposed to. I realize that it's a shock to people that someone has come here, lurked, and not done any of these: asinine font changes for no good reason, providing a link with no context, typing whatever jumps into their head and trying to actually dictate to the moderators, but shouldn't we expect that new members do what our New Guy did, rather than be surprised when people follow the rules?
/Oh, and by the by, Kenbob, you nailed the slashy thing just right.
