Larry Emdur has a new hosting role (alongside news reader Kylie Gillies) in the imaginatively named "The Morning Show" - and after only two weeks is blitzing the opposition (including former GS host and veteran morning/daytime dame, Kerri-Anne Kennerley).

It seems Larry has a multitude of hosting talents - and is a natural for this relaxed form of infotainment television. When Bert Newton moved from morning TV to GS host - he ultimately failed - Larry Emdur does the opposite, and absolutely blitzes.

See an article on his success - Morning Show a strong leader for Seven (NineMSN, 29 Jun 2007)

Of course, the link is from a site partially owned by Larry's competition.  (Doesn't Seven own a piece of Yahoo! Australia?)

And isn't it interesting that with the new competition, John Stamos came on Kerri-Anne's show and did a drunk act to unexpectedly disrupt proceedings--or did they do that on purpose?
