Announced today by Global TV is that they're bringing 5th Grader to Canada for 5 episodes, to be taped in Toronto in October.  No word on when they'll air, although they're doing a cross canada search for the kids.  And it doesn't look like Foxworthy will be coming up.

Would a Canadian with an 11-year old child refer to them as being a 5th Grader? Or will there be a name change to the show? My cousin always refers to her kids as "Well, so and so is in Grade 7."

I would imagine they'll keep the name the same - I teach and when you ask parents about their kids, it's "what grade are they in" first and foremost.
