Some fan-created "Concentration" fantasy MSPaint goodness.

This was one of my favorite GS photos that I've seen, featuring one of my all-time favorite games.

And, well, I was jealous of Mr. Downs in all his Concentration-hosting glory.

But the end result didn't look bad at all.

If you're going to paste yourself in a GS photo, shouldn't you at least look like you *belong* on the show?

Wasn't aware of the rules regarding pasting yourself in a photo.

No one said I was trying to look like anyone or anything.

Just having fun with Paint, is all.

Thought it looked interesting.

Basically, all I said was "Hey, I put myself in a GS picture. It was fun to do. Has anyone else done this?"

Nothing to garner adulation whatsoever.

No, but you did say that it "didn't look bad at all," so either you were in fact looking for reinforcement or you were offering the comment for others to agree or disagree as they saw fit.  If the former is true, then Mr. Lemon is dead on.  If the latter, you should not be surprised that others did in fact offer their opinions.

This is the perfect example of how no one from the GSN board can come here without trashing us -- in your case, on your very first post -- just because we allow actual discussion and Guide_Angel doesn't.

Hint: "I say something and everyone agrees with it" is not "discussion," and "Someone posts something and others agree or disagree calmly" is not a "war."

Oh really? In the SUBJECT LINE at the top, you wrote:

"I figured it would go somewhat-appreciated here."

I think you can't handle the fact that most people here (except for our new Wow-inducing first time poster)  think that it's a silly looking photo. Not you specifically, rather,  the whole idea of the photo.

And yes, the gang sign thing is creepy.

Then let it look silly. I have no problem handling that. Like I said before, all I did was post a homemade picture. You like it, cool. You don't like it, that's cool too.

I settled my end of the argument a while ago, admitting that I might not have worded my post in the best way possible. My apology stays.

And no defense was necessary on the part of the new member. This wasn't WWIII. Someone disagreed with me, and we settled it like decent gentlemen. I'm fine with that.
