Drew on Early Show, 7th August
« on: August 07, 2007, 08:38:49 AM »
Drew Carey is on the Early Show just after the 8.30 news this morning, for about 5 minutes.  It's a decent interview, although there are slight spoilers from main game rounds of Power of 10.

Yeah, the noon news for CBS here in NY also talked with him for a couple minutes yesterday, too, and did a couple of Power questions for practice. They also talked Price, and he said he's rehearsing the heck out of the games on both the host and contestant side of the coin. At the same time, he insists that nothing's changing.

Pretty funny story: During one rehearsal, Drew suggested to the crew "How about we all put $20 down, we all spin the wheel, and whoever gets closest to the dollar takes the pot?" And the producers all stood there saying "Why didn't we ever think of that in the last 30 years?"

Hehehe... looks like it's a good time in Price-land already.

There are a few users here (who I won't mention, but it doesn't matter because they're gonna complain about me and this post anyhow) who I would imagine are FUMING right now.

You know how the principal at school might see something really funny, and even though he realizes how funny it is, he has to maintain a little detachment because he also realizes that not everybody thinks it's funny, and he's probably going to have to deal with the fallout at some point?

That's the expression on my face right now.

/After I LOL'd
