How's your fall schedule stacking up?
« Reply #90 on: August 24, 2007, 05:34:23 PM »
The listings I use now let me go to Mon Sep 10 and here's what I've found for DC:

WJLA ABC 7
12:30 pm Crosswords
7-8 pm J! / WoF

WUSA CBS 9
11:00 am Price is Right
4:00 pm Millionaire

WDCA MNTV 20
Noon-1 pm Temptation
1-2 pm Family Feud

Not liking the same-timeness at 12:30, but that's it.

So, go north:

http://tvlistings3.zap2it.com/partners/zip...?partner_id=097

Punch in your zip, choose your provider and, even though the drop-down menu will only show two weeks' worth of dates, you can keep clicking the right-arrow and go almost another full week. It depends on when they last updated the database.

Thank you Steve, your check is in the mail. ;)

I probably have the best lineup of y'all.

WBND (ABC)
10AM-11AM Family Feud
12PM-1PM Temptation

WSBT (CBS)
11AM-12PM TPiR
7PM-8PM Wheel/J!

WNDU (NBC)
1PM-2PM Millionaire

SBT2 (IND)
3PM-4PM Merv's Crosswords

Game shows from 10-2, then an hour off, then Merv's.  NICE.

In New York, it's going to be:
TPiR- 11 A.M. on WCBS2
WWTBAM- 12:30 P.M.-1:00 P.M. WABC7
Temptation- 2:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M. on My9/WWOR9
Family Feud- 3:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. on My9/WWOR9
Crosswords is staying at 4 P.M. on WNBC4, as stated earlier, and as stated earlier, Wheel and Jeopardy! air from 7-8 on WABC.

Hm. I talked with the program director of WTTV/WXIN, and he said Temptation and Crosswords would air back-to-back at 1 PM... but the link provided above shows Cops x2 and Springer on those stations at 1 pm, and no sign of them elsewhere.

Other things are up-to-date (like WTHR clearing all 4 hours of Today, moving Ellen to 11 to take on TPiR and The View).

Edit: a promo on TTV Friday night for "2.5 Men", not reflected on that site, confirms they just haven't sent in updated info yet.

Because everyone's dying to know the status of the Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-San Luis Obispo market:

9:00am & 9:30am - Family Feud, KKFX (Fox)
10:00am - The Price Is Right, KCOY (CBS)
11:00am - Temptation, KSBY-CW (CW)

3:30pm - Crosswords, KKFX (Fox)
4:00pm & 4:30pm - Who Wants to be a Millionaire, KEYT (ABC)

7:00pm - Jeopardy!, KSBY (NBC)
7:30pm - Wheel of Fortune, KSBY (NBC)

EDIT 10 Sep 2007: Crosswords makes a very late appearance.

In Columbus, I know WSFJ 51 (GTN/Ion) will air Crosswords. It's an odd station for it to be on, but at least it will be on. Going to go look for Temptation right now.

EDIT: After looking, Crosswords airs a double-run at 7 and 7:30PM (against Wheel and J!). Feud on WTTE gets cut back to one airing at 12 noon (12:30 now Judge Judy, 75% of their schedule is court shows). No sign of Temptation (that I could find).

Might as well join in......

Louisville market:

10-11 AM Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, WHAS(ABC)
11 AM The Price Is Right, WLKY (CBS)
12 Noon- 1PM Family Feud, WDRB (Fox)
7PM Wheel, WLKY (CBS)
7:30PM Jeopardy!, WLKY (CBS)

Yawn...... 3AM Temptation, WHAS (ABC)

No sign of Crosswords.

Tyshaun

Update for Seth: Neither Temptation or Crosswords are scheduled to air in Lexington at this time.

I hate to steal Connecti-matt's possible thunder, but here's the schedule for Connecticut:

11:00 AM: The Price is Right (WFSB, CBS)
12:00/12:30 PM: Family Feud (WTIC, Fox)
1:00/1:30 PM: Millionaire (WTIC, Fox)
2:00 PM: Temptation (WTIC, Fox)
2:30 PM: Crosswords (WTIC, Fox)
7:00 PM: Jeopardy! (WTNH, ABC)
7:30 PM: Wheel (WTNH, ABC)

Heading north to Springfield:
11:00 AM: The Price is Right (WSHM, CBS); Temptation ("WBQT", CW)
12:00/12:30 PM: Family Feud (WTIC, Fox)
1:00/1:30 PM: Millionaire (WTIC, Fox)
2:00 PM: Temptation (WTIC, Fox)
2:30 PM: Crosswords (WTIC, Fox)
7:00 PM: Wheel (WWLP, NBC)
7:30 PM: Jeopardy! (WWLP, NBC)

No Crosswords, but with WTIC serving as the default Fox for the market there is no real loss.

More north to Vermont:
11:00 AM: The Price is Right (WCAX, CBS)
5:00 PM: Family Feud (WVNY, ABC)
5:30 PM: Millionaire (WVNY, ABC)
6:00 PM: Crosswords (WVNY, ABC)
7:00 PM: Jeopardy! (WPTZ/WNNE, NBC)
7:30 PM: Wheel (WPTZ/WNNE, NBC)

No sign of Temptation, and the bizarre nature of the market might be why.

And Pittsburgh-

WBGN Ind 59
Temptation 6-7 p.m.
Which, thanks to Comcast's infinite wisdom of NOT carrying Indy stations for an additional CBS and NBC stations, I don't get...argh.

WPXI NBC 11
Family Feud- 12:30 p.m. (Second run was dropped for Crosswords)
Millionaire- 1:00 p.m.
Crosswords- 1:30 p.m.
Wheel and J!- 7-8 p.m.

KDKA CBS 2
Drew Carey's Price is Right- 11 a.m.
[/quote]

Since WPXI's the only affiliate in the area that actually *takes* game shows, I guess that they could only have so many.  In terms of profile and reputation, it's Crosswords >>> Temptation, so in a situation where your schedule has a bunch of shows that are going away, guess who's going to the bottom feeder?

I wonder if they'll still do double runs in the am, or if they'll rerun Crosswords as well.

No thunder stolen, cause I really don't care much about scheduling, esp when I'm at work and can't watch the stuff over the air.

But I was under the impression NBC30 got Crosswords because they're an O&O? I could have sworn I saw a promo for it there?

According to zap2it, for the Eastern Shore of MD, we have:

WBOC 11-12: TPIR
FOX21 (WBOC21) 12-1: Feud
WBAL 2-3: Crosswords
FOX21 7-8: Wheel and J!
WMDT 7-8: Millionaire

This is sort of surprising to me, because in one of the articles that listed the stations carrying Crosswords (the one that stated it cleared 85% of the country), WBOC was mentioned as one of the stations carrying it, but looking at their schedule via Steve's method (TY much), I see it nowhere. Complimenting this, looking at all the past articles on their clearances, I see not one that mentions WBAL Baltimore carrying it. For some reason, I'm wondering if syndex may be involved somehow...

I don't see Temptation anywhere though, which is a shame. WBOC would've been appropriate, since, with the exception of WOF and J! up until 2005, they've had just about every syndie game since 1980 on their stations at one time or another. The people I know that work there are very much pro-game show. They could've replaced one of their double airings of Judge Hatchett, Judge Alex, or FF to get at least one airing in (I'm pretty sure the 8 am Judge Alex airing isn't doing too much to help FOX21, especially against the local news and Good Morning America).

Then again, I should at least be happy I'll get to see Crosswords. If Temptation does well enough the first go around, here's to hoping for next year.
