Hey, speaking of, do we know if this "season" was shot here in the States, or did they go over to the Netherlands again?

From what I hear, it was shot here.

And just when you thought GSN was done changing the schedule around, there is even more. According to the GSN pages, they now list "That's The Question" for Tuesday September 11th at 9pm.

Seems like it was posted here that there was a contestant call up on Craigslist.

And it's Hilversum, not Amsterdam.  Hilversum is where the Netherlands' TV and radio comes from.  Amsterdam is where the dope and prostitution comes from.  :)

ut did Lingo take a break between their 20 Amsterdam episodes and when production started in LA, even though the amount of time between the two was a lot smaller than what's happening now?
[/quote]
IIRC, Lingo debuted in late-summer 2002 (August I believe) and the LA season started that December. Don't know when they started taping though.
"They're both Norman Jewison movies, Troy, but we did think of one Jew more famous than Tevye."

Now celebrating his 22nd season on GSF!

10pm Family Feud (Karn)
10:30 Chain Reaction

I guess the new president finally found the keys to the vault.  Wonder where Cronin hid them?

Why do I think that the new president is a fanb0i of Karn Feud? That brings it to, how many showings a week, 24? For a show that GSN probably has licensed only a season of from Fremantle, this is beyond overkill. Weird to see Camouflage totally gone, or at least exiled to weekends, after a mere two months as well, could their future be in doubt?

I'm liking the daily O'Hurley TTTT and the once-weekly doses of Trivia Trap and NYSI, but ease up on the Karn Feud!

Actually, they seem to have at least the first two seasons of Karn Feud. But seriously, 24 showings a week is WAY too many.

Not surprised about Playmania being cut down again. I know many think it's inane, but it's a fun little show- in small doses and not every day.

Good thing about O'Hurley TTTT. It will suck though when we/if we get to Season 2.

And I'm glad Now you see it is coming back. Ive actually never seen a whole episode.

No need to worry. It won't last forever.

Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

Holy wow...what is GSN on now?  Coupled with DD on Sundays, this is downright amazing for current-day GSN.
When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

Or maybe they are giving it a break like they did TTQ. It's better than rerunning the same 40 episodes over and over again, even though I have not seen half of them.

If so, that was their own fault. They could have run 1 episodes nightly instead of 2.

Do you think the 9-12 block will be showing the same episodes as the 4-7 block (or something similar)?  That can't have been set up like that on accident.

Of course, this is just one more version of something that seems to be in constant flux.
This signature is currently under construction.

As I've said before, I don't care what they do to their afternoon/primetime schedule. I'm usually doing other things anyway. I'm just glad that that we'll now even see Now You See It and Trivia Trap. This is the first time that both shows have been on the schedule in a very long time, right?

9 years for Now You See It, almost 5 for Trivia Trap.

I might have to invest in a cable box soon as well...

I'm having a hard time remembering Trivia Trap ever being a part of the regular schedule.  It's also one we don't talk about much, whereas NYSI gets mentioned quite a bit.

And yes, it's really neat to see their willingness to pepper late-night with some vintage library product.  I'd still love to see a weekly home for the truly, wonderfully weird (they teased us on day one with the possbility of Peter Marshall's Fantasy, as just one example), but this is at least proving that they don't consider the lower-profile 70s-80s product toxic.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.
