OK now, did Deborah Curling work for CBS as a prize administrator or did she work for Fremantle as a contestant screener? And since when is backstage at TPIR an intolerable work environment?
WRT the discrimination charges, TPIR or any other game show, television show, motion picture, stage play, radio program, or any other public performance, is under NO obligation whatsoever not to discriminate. They could cast all Caucasian contestants, or all African-American, or all Asian, or all Hispanic, or all Pacific Islander contestants to the exclusion of any other ethnic group and be perfectly within their rights. Being a contestant on TPIR is not an employment relationship and TPIR is not a public accomodation. Picking contestants for a game show is akin to casting actors for a movie or play. If the director wants an Asian actor in a role, an Asian actor it shall be; it is totally at the discretion of the director or producer.
