Nice...both syndicated shows getting primetime previews. Although, I do think a Saturday nite slot is a bit strange, considering you want to spread the word on the show.

What about the NBC affiliates in cities where another station is running the show?  Would they pre-empt it so as not to promote the competition?

Unless, of course, that other station's part of your duopoly.

And I would assume that in those markets where "Temptation"'s not on a station owned by the MyTV affil (and I would pretty much assume that outside of KRON in San Francisco, the MyTV affil's the smaller station of a duopoly or a digital side channel), the MyTV station will pre-empt the "Temptation" preview.

Third possibility: it's an LPTV.  See: WBGT, Rochester. :-)  Here it's The CW that's on a digital side channel (WHAM-DT2 aka "CW-WHAM"), formerly a cable-only outlet.

Considering how the merger went down, I wouldn't make that assumption at all. I'm guessing quite a few "smaller" stations ended up being the CW, based solely on ownership.

Slightly bad news to report...NBC has changed their 9/8 lineup and the Crosswords preview is gone. Most Outrageous Moments is at 8, and the Fall Preview special is at 8:30.

Perhaps the station managers in markets where a non-NBC affil was airing the show complained to brass about promoting a syndicated show that in many (most?) markets isn't even going to be airing on their station.
