Oh, this is freakin' INSANE!

Humphrey Bogart was in Hollywood Victory Caravan (1945) with Bob Hope
Bob Hope was in Young Comedians (1995) (TV) with Alan Thicke
Alan Thicke was in \"Three's a Crowd\" (2000) with Randy West

I guess I should call Lauren Bacall - we have so much in common!

Here's a somewhat interesting one:
The Oracle says: Randy (II) West has a Bill (I) Cullen number of 2.

Randy (II) West was in \"Price Is Right, The\" (1972) with Bob Barker
Bob Barker was in TV's Funniest Gameshow Moments (1984) (TV) with Bill (I) Cullen

-Joe Kavanagh

This sounds like something they did on Talk Soup(E!) with the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon!

Actually, the game to play with the Oracle computer is to come up with two reasonably well known names with the LARGEST number.  With Oracle, and the IMDB (especially on their \"Movies and TV\" setting) anything more than three is unusual, and six is nearly impossible!

(Using Bill Cullen and *just* using the \"Movies\" setting, Dakota Fanning -- who was born four years after Bill DIED -- has an Oracle number of three!)
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

Alan Thicke was in Rubdown (1993) (TV) with Michelle (I) Phillips

There is a very interesting dissertation on the Oracle explaining why Sean Connery is a better center of the Hollywood universe than Bacon, backed up with mathematical proof.

(And all this time I thought it was Brian Doyle Murray...)

Of course, there's another Randy West out there with a Bill Cullen number of 1, having been a contestant on Blockbusters.

But should clip shows really count?

Personally (no offense, Randy), I have never counted television when playing the Bacon game. Makes it WAY too easy.

When I play six degrees, I keep coming back to Jennifer Love Hewitt myself.

ObGameShow: Whoopi Goldberg is just one degree of separation from JLH.  Both were in Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.
