No weekend shows :(

Also just so you know, Todd Newton will be hosting and they will be playing Plinko there. Keypads will not be used (registration is the same as Atlantic City). Interesting that seats are general admission.

Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

Bad, bad move. Shame on Foxwoods for not doing weekend shows and getting a lot more people and money for their (and Fremantle's) coffers.

Won't matter since the attendance will be a fraction of what it could be because you miss the out-of-towners who come on the weekends :(.

I guess it doesn't matter. Even if they had weekend shows, you'd have to get there super early to get a seat. Hell, the line for registration is usually a mile long and you are guaranteed a seat. Is this the only venue to do general admission seating?

I disagree.  I went to a Monday show in May of 2006 and it was still packed, even with JD Roberto hosting.

/Worst.  Highlight reel.  Ever.

Seeing as from what I can tell the Foxwoods people are REALLY GOOD at making money, I'm gonna guess that they a) know something you don't, and b) they're not overly concerned with your assessment of their business decisions.

You rang??!   ;-)

Actually, I don't speak "officially" for FremantleMedia, it's affiliates, subsidiaries, or business partners. Hell, I'm barely qualified to speak officially for myself.

Yes, we're gonna miss Todd in Vegas as we loan him to Foxwoods for the opening 3 or 4 weeks only. There will be no weekend shows because we'll be sharing the showroom with other bookings, everything from the Moody Blues to Don Rickles. But I have no doubts about the Fox theater being packed for those weekday shows as no version of Price has made it to the East coast since Bill Cullen first popularized Drew's glasses!

After 500 shows in Las Vegas the audiences are still as manic as they were way back 4 years ago when Price-Live debuted in Reno. So I can recommend the show whole-heartedly. Go, good luck, and I hope you get to "Come On Down"!!

Agreed. In Atlantic City, senior citizen tour groups would come by the busloads to see the show in the afternoon, then hit the casino. The show, like everything else in the casino, is another way to draw your money out into the casino floor. Weekend shows can be up and down, attendance wise. I rarely saw a weekday show that wasn't full capacity.
