New Fox game show in development

Huh. I had it pegged as a joke from the moment I started reading it (silly literal name describing the show's content, less work for more money, etc.). Oh, well.

Well it's gonna premiere January 23rd....Right after an American Idol episode of course. $500,000 is the top prize. Mark L. Walberg is hosting if you didn't hear earlier.

Someone on Nikki Finke's blog (the place to go for what's going in Hollywood this week) said that Fox's reality department is in the dumps right now because they can't seem to find anything that will work.  Mea culpa, of course, but only two new shows in this schedule ("Truth" and "When Women Ruled the World") seems to be a lot less than I expected Mike Darnell and the boys to bring it when they're needed.  We may just get those unaired episodes of "Nashville" on anyway.
