One could always
ask[/quote]
Or you could ask someone who has a Tic Tac Dough press kit for the 1985-6 season. Hey, that's me!
The highlights...
* Caldwell was 34 when he started TTD.
* He's from Akron, OH.
* Attended the Air Force Academy and Arizona State University, where he majored in finance.
* Did modeling assignments and local TV commercials in the Boston area.
* Did a dinner theater warm-up act in Phoenix while modeling.
* Co-host of "Good Day" on WCVB, Boston.
* Co-hosted "P.M. Magazine" in New York City for 2 years.
* During the "P.M. Magazine" stint, Caldwell wrote a manual and gave classes on "How To Get a Job as a Television Host". (Apparently there wasn't a follow-up about how to
succeed as a host.)
* 6'2", 175 lbs. at the time.
I'm stopping before this mini bio turns into a personals ad.
If anybody really wants a full copy of the bio, I can scan it and send it via e-mail. One at a time, please.
