"Matt Ottinger" was the only famous name that You Could Say! The judges weren't about to rule against it.

They were going to save Password All-Stars by bringing in Matt Ottinger, but it would have been TOO successful.

Matt Ottinger once placed ten blocks on a Whew! board by sheer force of will.

Matt Ottinger looks dapper in a tuxedo.

The show was originally called "1 vs. Matt Ottinger," but they changed it to "100" to give the contestant a chance of winning.

Matt Ottinger isn't allowed to spin the Big Wheel because it would never come to a stop.

Howie Mandel shaved his head because he wanted to be more like Matt Ottinger.

Regardless of how many blank spaces there are, "Matt Ottinger" is always a correct response on Merv Griffin's Crosswords.

Matt Ottinger doesn't need three more consonants and a vowel.

Or the R, S, T, L, N, and E.

When Matt Ottinger competed on Family Feud, all of the female contestants kissed HIM.

Matt Ottinger always wins both showcases, even he is $50,000 away from the actual retail price, over or under.

Emcees wearing tuxedos?  They're actually wearing Matt Ottinger pyjamas!

The "Messiest Minute on Television" originally involved the results of mothers' reactions to seeing a portrait of Matt Ottinger.

In the old days, parting contestants leave with supplies of Turtle Wax.  Nowadays many shows give them nothing; there's only so much of Matt Ottinger to go around.

Matt Ottinger believes the hype.  That's the only reason NBC is still on the air.

Weakest Link contestants once voted off Matt Ottinger.  Anne Robinson told these contestants that THEY were the Weakest Links, goodbye!

The Tower of Greed was actually The Tower of Matt Ottinger; the show was cancelled because the contestants found out and nobody wanted to play anymore.

Sitting in The Chair of Matt Ottinger instantly triggers a heartstopper.  It's not all bad; at least the resting heart rate afterward is guaranteed to be below the redline.

Jeopardy! was a groundbreaking game show. It took 135 special effects artists 13 months to make it seem like Ken Jennings won his game against Matt Ottinger.

Twenty-One wasn't rigged.  Matt Ottinger took Charles Van Doren's place for a few months.
The countdown to 100 ended awhile ago, why are you still here?

I gotta say this...if there ever was such a thing as a good threadjack, this would be it.

(I can't think of anything other than something dirty...so I'll pass.)
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

And he was able to do it in 25 seconds! The idea of Billy Crystal setting the record on the 6-subject Pyramid is a mere myth.

Matt Ottinger also was able to win the half-zero variant of the Chain Reaction endgame with time to spare.

All responsibility, Mike? Didn't someone's bio section have a little something to do with it?
You're right, Doug. I can't believe it's been 25 years, either.

If I didn't mention it, this might not have happened.  Mr. Lemon should get some blame too since his slashies contributed to what we have now.  I'll repent before the aura of Matt Ottinger forces the business end of a 2x4 into my forehead.

If you want to claim some responsibility, you can have some as long as you can get past Matt Ottinger.  That's the same Matt Ottinger who surpasses all winnings records by being within 2500 miles of a game show studio.

Go was originally called Matt Ottinger but the name was shortened because nobody dared to mispronounce 'Ottinger'.

Matt Ottinger tried out for PYL but would not be selected, because Matt Ottinger never gets a Whammy.
