Matt was refused a shot on Dream House because no Golden Doors can keep Matt Ottinger out.

Matt was able to capture all 6 Battlestars...on the first question of the game in both games. He then didn't need any of the freebies to get the bonus picture right for $5,000.

In late-1985, Chevrolet Celebrity production was suddenly ramped up after all existing stocks were depleted when Matt Ottinger kept hitting the car space on the wheel of Your Number's Up with a win each time.

During the short-lived "doubling" bonus round of the NBC run of Win, Lose, or Draw, Matt Ottinger won so much that he became an economic superpower in a mere 90 seconds.

In a single episode, Matt completed, by himself, a detour, roadblock, u-turn, and a speed bump, while being yielded.  He did this, checked into the pitstop, and then checked out before the other teams even started their leg, causing Phil Koeghan to raise both eyebrows.  Fast forwards serve no purpose to him; they are there merely to give television viewers the impression that other teams have a chance.

Ryan :)

/which, of course, they don't.

Which of course means he yeilded himself for the challenge

You can't use "awesome" for "Matt Ottinger".  Dick Martin also learned that one the hard way.
When you're at the grocery game and you hear the beep, think of all the fun you could have at "Crazy Rachel's Checkout Counter!"

The Chamber actually had three different chambers: the Hot Chamber, the Cold Chamber and the Matt Ottinger Chamber. The last of these was never broadcast because nobody ever survived the first question.

/ what the heck is this slash malarkey about?
// it's been a while since I've dropped by and so I'm completely out of touch
/// but it looks quite pretty

If I didn't mention it, this might not have happened.  Mr. Lemon should get some blame too since his slashies contributed to what we have now.[/quote]
The bottom line is that at last the opening days of 2008 have brought on a long-overdue series of declarations and testaments to the greatness that is The Matt and as long as that realization has been made known throughout the length and breadth of this galaxy, its planets and a few small animals, we are all a better nation and world.

When Matt appeared on "The Love Experts," it was he who gave the panel advice.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Because Matt is the Love Buffet, all by himself.

Matt Ottinger IS The Wizard of Odds, and the odds were always in his favor.

The scat singing heard in the theme to "All Star Blitz" was actually the reaction the singer had when he saw Matt Ottinger waiting outside the recording studio for him -- all because the singer never paid back the 5 cents Matt loaned him for getting a Pepsi in the vending machine 3 days before!

When on "Press Your Luck", when a contestant played against the house (since the other 2 players whammied out), they were actually playing against Matt Ottinger at that point.  Needless to say only one person opted to use all their remaining spins.  That contestant never returned to defend their championship the next day!

Matt Ottinger never has to face the devil because the devil's scared of a beatdown by just one pull of the joker machine.

Nobody ever wanted to play against Matt on Card Sharks '01 after he used clip chips as ninja stars to sever his opponent's heads.

Matt Ottinger tried out for PYL but would not be selected, because Matt Ottinger never gets a Whammy.

Also because Matt Ottinger doesn't need luck.  It's all skill, baby.

When Matt donated his Lawn Swing from Sale of the Century to the local PBS station funding raising auction the phone system for the entire state of Michigan broke down.
