I'm not sure I'd go that far, but you would do far better if you'd stick to commenting only when you actually know something about the subject at hand.  Using humor to cover for a lack of knowledge is usually perceived as PJTP (aka Posting Just to Post).

I personally thought the trillions on both boards were electronically controlled with motors.

I'd assume that the main game pyramid was hand-controlled...possibly by the judge?

Yes, it was hand-controlled, at least during the days when it had the pulled subject cards and later trilons.  It was handled by a stagehand behind the board, along side with the stage manager getting his signals from upstairs in the control room.

Check out this snapshot photo by an audience member at a $20,000 Pyramid taping session in progress.  You might see the stagehand, somehow barely, behind the mini-pyramid.

That may be, to me, the best photo of the 20K Pyramid I've ever seen. Gives you a real indication just how deep the 'cavernous' looking studio actually was.

And the colors are incredible!
