Well, I do know this, however:

According to Steve Beverly's site, arrangements have been made and Wink Martindale has agreed to appear on next Friday's edition of GSN's new GSN Live interstitials.

Meanwhile, back on the topic, with host interviews being eliminated, does this mean the call for contestants who appeared on game shows pre-1990 has also been pulled from the plans?

The interview with Wink will be on Friday (per GSN).  I would think everything else will happen as well, though maybe not where we think they should be.

2 days of this latest GSN venture and no comments on it?

Well I'll start...

Um, well, at least the hosts aren't overworked.  Could be the easiest gig on TV.

Here's a comment :

To celebrate Jim Narz's birthday today, they had him on the phone. While he was responding to Fred's question about why he hasn't hosted a game show in 22 years, Heidi interrupted him to ask him what his favorite show hosting was. After that quick answer, he was thanked for calling in.

The entire segment lasted, at best, 90 seconds.

Pass.

Wow, that's telling. As is Roggin's attempt at hard-hitting journalism.

Paraphrasing, Tom said he stopped hosting because his phone stopped ringing.  His fave shows to host were YDS and NTT, ironically (or is it coincidentally?) both unshown on GSN.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

And they couldn't have taken out one of the game segments to talk to him?  Still, it's nice to have had him on, even if it was for a go-to-the-kitchen-to-get-a-drink-and-you'll-miss-it segment.  They should "make his phone ring" more often.

I can only imagine what Friday's going to be like: "Hiya Wink!  Nice to have you.  Now, 'Family Feud'!"

It's achingly close to irony, but just falls short.  (Now if the name of the network were Kennedy's Klassics and neither YDS nor NTT were on the schedule, we'd have a winner.)

I taped the premiere. I was about halfway through converting it to DVD when I thought, "Why am I doing this?"

A few notes for the next week. Tommorow Ken Jennings will be on and will be promoting his book as well as telling us on how to become a Game Show Champion.

Joyce Bulifant will be coming to GSN Live on Friday.

Guide_Angel says that next week, Fred Roggin will be taking a vacation. Taking his spot for the week will be Wink Martindale. And next Friday, Peter Marshall will be the special guest.

This all comes from GSN.

Which easily makes this the most tolerable and best week of the show. Those brows man, I tell ya. Expect Heidi to get more than her token few words in each segment when dealing with the much more genial Winker.
