What does "bolshy" mean?  Does that mean Gretel's a Commie?  

I don't know--Gretel looks a little too Standard Issue Female Presenter to me, like she should be doing some makeover show instead of "TWL."  From anyone who's seen her work--can she do the Wicked Witch of the West act that Robinson and (I assume) Frances did so well?

Heh, I had never twigged that 'bolshy' was to do with Bolshevic, but it makes perfect sense now. Anyway, it suggests someone's rather pushy and aggressive.

She could actually be quite good for this, whenever I saw Aussie BB, she always came across as rather matriachal, and not always in a positive sense.
