Now that I'm finally starting Season 2 (ahead of a S2 marathon tomorrow - June 22 - on FRC), I can't adjust to the new Val voice. I liked the robotic one better - it seemed to have a certain evil glee about it.
I've read that S1 reruns on FRC have had the new Val voice spliced in. Thankfully that didn't happen to the hulu eps.
