"classic Concentration" Book
« on: October 07, 2003, 02:41:36 PM »
Not too long ago, I found out that Steve Ryan published a book of rebuses used in \"CC\" in 1991 and I'm trying to find a copy of it.

Would anybody know where I could, in fact, find a copy of it and is it really worth the search ?

Thanks

It shows up on Ebay quite frequently (though there aren't any up for bids right now, oddly enough).  If you're interested in Concentration or Ryan's artwork, then of course you should seek it out.  It has a nice history of the show, and scores of full-color rebuses.

This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.

STeve is still constructing puzzles for Games Magazine that appear there from time to time. He also did new rebuses for the ENdless Games Concentration home game that came out a few years back.

I saw it at Border's in Ann Arbor on a remainder table about three years ago for less than five bucks and I was gonna buy it until I saw the long line at the checkout and now I am kicking myself for my impatience.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

I did see it at the Main Branch of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County a number of years ago...but I don't know if they still have it.

Not to mention the new \"Concentration\" slots.

I believe that Steve may still be working with Jonathan Goodson on his lottery shows (if he has any still going).

Speaking of the 'Concentration' slots... has anyone here actually played them? I've had a heck of a time trying to find them in my favorite casinos. (Las Vegas, Laughlin)

Slots-a-fun...

I know Steve was still on the JGP staff in 2000, per the Illinois' Luckiest credits.
