Set your DVRs for NBC on 4/29/08, folks...!

As part of NBC's "Most Outrageous Moments" program on April 29th, the first re-airing of Monty Hall's infamous "Show me another nipple..." LMAD clip will occur, a little over 39 years after it first aired on ABC (original TX date is 4/9/69).

The sequence has been restored to almost videotape-quality from the original (quite grainy) B&W kinescope, using my LiveFeed Video Imaging process.  I had alerted the folks at Hatos-Hall about the clip's existence some time ago, and when they were contacted earlier this year by the "Most Outrageous Moments" research team, my contact was kind enough to recommend this footage.

It's a great little moment, all the more so because it's obvious that (at first) Monty had no idea what he had just said-- even though the contestant and the rest of the audience reacted just as you'd expect them to...

And of course, it's just a (very) small part of the entire show, but I thought you all might enjoy getting a look at it.

[End of shameless plug]

I wonder if they'll show Gene Rayburn's similar "misspeak" on the show.

I hope not...most of us have only seen that 10,236 times.  I'd imagine a lot of people who aren't game show geeks like us have probably seen it quite a few times too.

Scary...I just popped in a VHS tape to watch some Barker-era Price (for the hell of it), and it just so happens that tape had one of the Most Outrageous specials on it...led off with the "in the butt, Bob" clip, then that one.

So I'm up to at least 14,684 views.  :)

Yes-- part of a new run of "Most Outrageous Moments" episodes.  The "Let's Make a Deal" clip is actually in the 2nd show of the new series.

I saw it, and all I have to say is thumbs up to TwoInchQuad for doing the restoration

Oh, and they did not show the misspeak incident on MG for the umpteenth time.

Good to see some fresh game show blooper clips circulating around.

/I wish Most Outrageous Moments would stop dubbing the clips with their own "voice acting."

So I'm not the only one who noticed that too.  I pointed that out to my wife that there couldn't be sound on some of those videos, especially the surveillance videos from the convenience stores.
