I have this feeling I'm going to be fast-forwarding through that one, too.

Apparently I picked a good night to go to the theatre.

Last night I Tivoed Feud, Wipeout, and Japanese Gameshow. And thinking "man, am I gonna be busy on Wednesday night, and I want to play Rock Band too."

Based on the reviews I'm seeing here, it's looking possible that I might get my Rock Band time in. :)

Chris, from personal viewing, I'd just skip Feud and Japanese Gameshow.  Didn't see Wipeout, tho (major mistake).

Having seen Wipeout, I'd call that a minor exaggeration.

My wife and I LOVED Wipeout.

Maybe we are completely brainless.

But I thought it was wholly entertaining for nothing more than being a show watching other people get mildly injured, repeatedly. Also, it was fairly obvious that it was a hastily-edited together pilot. But still very entertaining, and the show actually had a fairly engaging end game (that should have been played in daylight).

I don't think that Wipeout has staying power though...so while the ratings for it and Feud were tied this week, I don't see Wipeout doing so well in the long-run.

/what our summer needs is a good healthy run of The Vault, complete with home game, just like the Brits

Maybe that's my problem, I expected there to be more game to the show.

I'm okay that you liked it and agree that its shelf life is pretty thin (mine was 5 minutes), but it's just not worth my time

Siding with Mitch (again), my wife and I too enjoyed it. She, at times, was crying tears of laughter.

However, I think Wipeout (and Feud for that matter) make better 30 minute shows than an hour. There is just not enough meat there to be spread throughout 60 minutes.

Oh, thank heavens you're okay with it. Do you really think we all sit here waiting for 'your' approval? Geez.

At 8 PM hour, Wipeout takes viewers and 18-49 demo.  Feud, a close second.

I've created threads for Wipeout and Japanese Game Show in the Show Summaries section, where there is already one for Family Feud.  As a courtesy to our members who are still catching up with their cache, let's limit our reviews and opinions about the shows themselves to those repsective threads.  Thanks bunches.

Caught the show for the first time this week. It certainly was loud. I switched it off in the middle of the second question of the first round. I miss 1 Vs. 100.
