Brand new GSN Schedule
« on: June 06, 2008, 01:27:51 PM »
On July 21st, GSN will premiere a brand new original called Catch-21. It is a revival of the classic Game Show Gambit. Back in 2001, this show was given a pilot under the name of Casino, but Cronin decided to scrap the idea. When this show begins to air, we will see some major changes to most of the schedule. This all comes from Buzzerblog.

9:00am: Tic Tac Dough (Replaces Love Connection)
9:30am: Blockbusters
10:00am: Super Password
10:30am: Family Feud (Combs)
11:00am: Let's Make A Deal
11:30am: Press Your Luck

GSN Live
12:00pm: Jeopardy!
12:30pm: Wheel Of Fortune
1:00pm: Card Sharks (Perry)
1:30pm: Match Game 1976
2:00pm: Family Feud (Dawson)
2:30pm: Password Plus

3:00pm: To Tell The Truth (O'Hurley)
3:30pm: Lingo (Replaces Friend or Foe)
4:00pm: Weakest Link (Gray)
4:30pm: Family Feud (Karn)
5:00pm: Chain Reaction (Lane)
5:30pm: Family Feud (Karn)
6:00pm: Russian Roulette
6:30pm: Whammy!
7:00pm: Bingo America
7:30pm: Catch-21
8-11pm: Same
11:00pm: Catch-21
11:30pm: Lingo

The only other change is Sundays at 10:00pm, where we will get an hour of Catch-21.

Nice to see Combs Feud back. Wonder if they'll pick up where they left off the last time it was on the schedule.

Wow, what an overhaul.  I like the schedule they have now, but this is even better.  A subpar show (LC) goes, a great one (Ray's Feud) returns.  Now that is a bargain.  Thank you, GSN.

And don't forget this is only the schedule for the east coast feed.  The west coast feed has the 12-3 block from 9-12, the 3-6 block from 12-3, and the 9-12 block from 3-6.  Confused yet?

Seriously though, it does mean those of you who get the west coast feed will be watching classics like Tic Tac Dough, Let's Make a Deal, and Press Your Luck in the late afternoon.

But now I've got that darn theme song stuck in my head.

Thank goodness I'm not old enough to know the theme you're talking about.

I hear that the discs from the 1998-2001 seasons come with a warning about repetitiveness. :-)

Is this a change?  I was under the impression that east 12-3 was west 9-12 and east 9-12 was west 12-3, with east and west 3-6 being the same.

/still less confusing than the difference between ABC's East and West daytime lineups in 1975

Yes it is a change.  Apparently in preparation to eventually expand GSN Live to 6 hours (!) and have the whole thing simulcast on both feeds.
