I am only speculating but I'm a bit curious.
After seeing a Portuguese TPIR clip, I noticed that the set and music is exactly the same from the UK Version. I know the the UK versions of TPIR have always looked different than the US, even with different formats, however just wondering that because the US version is up for a change, I'm wondering if this is what Freemantle considers the 'new direction' for TPIR in the US, with a few alterations. Maybe all their other versions now look the same?
Will have to wait and see, although i haven't watched regularly for years, so ill probably just see clips on youtube or something.
