Well here's another kick in the pants...apparently WLYH (CW15) is (also?) getting in on the action...7:30pm weekdays according to the commercial I just saw.

Interesting. I wonder if 21 will have one episode in the morning and CW15 one in the evening, or still a double run in the morning. Not counting shows like blind date, this is CW15's first game show since (I think) the daytime Feud back when they were CBS.

This gives good old 21 a 3-hour game show block, assuming it's a double-run....DOND at 9, WWTBAM at 10, and of course TPiR at 11... Much better than the previous 9am offerings in recent years (People's Court right now, previously Keith Ablow)..

In the 2007-8 season, 21 couldn't compete at 9...the third hour of Today and Regis/Kelly Lee on 27 blew 21 out of the water. So DoND is good counter-programming for that hour. Millionaire actually didn't do too bad for 21 at 10am this past season, so I'm not surprised that didn't change.

Also glad that DoND makes it on air at 7:30 on 15. Should be a solid performer for them if they get eyes.

I would wager that (WPMT Fox) 43 picked up Trivial Pursuit sometime between 12-2, because they now have 2 hours of holes to fill. I have yet to hear word from them on anything. Also, no word on what 27 is doing with their schedule this fall.

(FWIW, from what I've seen, WGAL is keeping the same schedule, except in the 11a hour, where Martha will be making an appearance for awhile.)

I figured Matt O. would have posted this by now...

Lansing, Michigan checks in.  DoND weekdays at 5:30 pm (single run) replacing Crosswords.  Not sure yet what will happen with the other Crosswords slot at 4 am.

For the record, other changes include Martha Stewart moving from 3 to 2, replacing Judge Joe Brown; and Bonnie Hunt moving into the 3 pm slot.  Rachael Ray stays at 4.

That's the good news for those of you who can get WILX's signal.   The bad news is that they've announced a power cut in their analog signal effective Sept. 8, which will probably drastically decrease the viewing area.  However, digital signal will be at full strength for those of you who can receive it.

Do you think the WILX power cut is a way to get around having to shut off its analog signal?  This way they could tell the FCC it's a low power station and stay on beyond the deadline.

Not sure if MSU allows the kids to have cable or sat. in the dorms.

Here in Phoenix, it'll run on KNXV ABC 15 at 3 pm. So ABC 15 will now have Wheel, Jeopardy, and Deal or No Deal.

Straying from the "Where's Deal gonna be" for a second:

for those of us in the NYC area that actually like watching Jeopardy! before 7 on WABC, WLNY flipped around their afternoon-early evening schedule yesterday- J! and Wheel are now on at 5, trading spaces with Dr. Phil who is now on at 6 preceding Oprah.

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Gem State checking in:

Twin Falls:
KSAW ABC51 (Semi-Sattelite of Boise's KIVI): Trivial Pursuit; 4PM, followed by "Best Of" Millionaire at 4:30. Both replace Crosswords.

Boise:
KNIN (CW): DOND; 4:30PM.

No, I think the WILX power cut is nothing more than a plan to save money while weaning viewers to digital starting with the beginning of the Fall Season.  Lower transmitter power = less electricity needed = less money spent.  As far as I know, the analog goes off for good on schedule.

Not sure about MSU dorms, but I'm pretty sure they have cable available.

Syndie DOND will be airing in Omaha, NE on WOWT-6 at 2:30pm weekdays.  Not the most convenient time, but thanks to the magic of DVR I can watch it on my time.  This info per the programming department who kindly answered my e-mail.

Guess I should also add that here, in good ol' Lincoln, we're getting DOND on KLKN-8 (ABC) at 6:30 p.m.  Hmm...DOND or WOF?  I'll take Wheel, thank you...:).  Especially since we get WOWT here in Lincoln...;)

By the way, Matt, do you know what station(s) in Omaha/Lincoln are going to air TP?  My initial guess would be KXVO to replace the Rossi-fest, but I'm not sure.

Trivial Pursuit: America Plays's website is now up and running. The site includes info on the show, info on how to become a contestant or submit a question, and also local listings.

Good to see both syndie shows running sites a month before the premiere, unlike last year.

Looks like my ABC affil wants to attempt to overthrow Wheel/J! with Deal/TP.

...and it looks like the indy station probably got suckered into the Daytime+ pack.

Oof!  4AM in Philadelphia.  That can't be good.

Pittsburgh has TP TBA, but since it's WPXI, I'm thinking it may be 1:30PM.  That's when Crosswords is on right now, and I see no real reason to adjust the 12:30-2PM game show block further.

Well, in NYC it replaces Temptation...so hopefully it isn't all that bad...

Still, Peter Brady...pass for now.

/What I'd really like to see is what's airing where among the new syndie offerings in NYC altogether...

Hopefully WFMZ (even though technically they are Allentown) will pick it up and replace Temptation with it since that slot (8-9pm) is still open to my knowledge. I know they are replacing Crosswords (4-5pm) with Deal or No Deal.
