Or perhaps he'd rather have an autographed picture.
I have one of Willard Scott that he's welcome to.

Best ELO album that also shared its title with a game show was "Face the Music."

Ironically enough, Al Roker.

/Or is that coincidentally?
//And what does this have to do with ELO?

Sorry, man. I was hoping for you.
OK, shifting the rooting pom-poms to Tampa.
And I see I jinxed them this afternoon with my allegiance.

Root for the Red Sox, Don. Please.

I need the power of the jinx.

With that in mind, I just might.
Though I wouldn't be too terribly upset if Paul Byrd gets a ring.

Dude...the White Sox just won a World Series.  Why do you want to see them win another one?

Well, they went down quietly today...

I guess the rumors of the Don Howard Jinx have been greatly exaggerated.

/Fox ain't gonna like the ratings THIS year, I tell ya whut...

I dunno.  An LAD/BOS World Series (Manny back at Fenway, with Torre managing him) probably wouldn't be all that bad.

/That said, the Angels, Rays and Phillies will have something to say about that.
//But as usual, the Cubs won't.

Boy, if you bet on the Rays to even get this far...can I borrow some money? :)

Dodgers / Boston would kill. Rays / anybody would kill, because it's the Rays. Dodgers / Phils would do okay, ratings-wise. Dodgers / Angels would have consolidated the audience to a single market, which is never good, but also moot.

Really the only pairing I can see being ratings suicide would be Phils / Boston.

I'm assuming you meant Angels/Phillies (which is moot anyhow).  Dodgers/Phillies starts in three days.

Actually, what I meant was "my, this crack is smooth." :) Good catch. This shows you how much I've paid attention to baseball lately.
