Can I work for for Variety?

From Cynopsis.net.......

Fall schedule switch for Fox -- going in on Thursdays at 8p is  FremantleMedia N.A.'s Hole in the Wall beginning on September 11; coming out and waiting until a mid-season berth opens up is Moment of Truth, reports B&C.

True...but you gotta feel for Walberg because of this (although I'm putting the over/under on HOTW's run at 7 eps- I saw the Australian version, and although the format is a little different here, it's a one-joke show that will burn out quick- but if SAG strikes, all bets are off...).

Considering his views on whoring himself out to Moment of Truth for the cash, this seems appropriate.

The first time Mark asked Fox not to air MOT, they didn't grant his wish.  Maybe he asked again and this time they complied?

Terrible show.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

On the other hand, "Truth" really got burned this summer, which I suspect indicates that the public is tired of the gimmick.  You could just see the desperation ooze out of the end of the final summer episode, where the Guy Who Sounds Like Mark Thompson But Isn't was promising "POLITICIANS...CELEBRITIES...SPORTS STARS...LAWYERS" as contestants in the fall season without naming any particular names.

And as much as I think we all wish that Walberg would be doing "Trivial Pursuit" instead, he might've gotten canned for Peter Brady no matter what his network gig was.  I can just hear a station manager telling the Debmar Mercury guy that they think "Temptation" tanked because they didn't have a "name" hosting--and like it or not, Christopher Knight's a more promotable "name" than Mark L. Walberg.

Lots of conjecture here. Mark is not doing Trivial Pursuit, as was planned, solely because his contract with Fox does not allow it at this time.

Um, it seems quite apparent through his interviews and other assorted comments that Walberg knew it was a snake when he picked it up.

And given Channel Nine's record as of late, I'm putting the Aussie over/under at 3.

Interesting that they're holding off on MOT, if only because things were set up for taping at CBS in Studio City this past weekend.  (MDP was in 23, MOT was in 21, and the family/contestant sequestering rooms and whatnot were set up down the hall.)  Guess they'll have a few lined up and festering to unleash on the public once "Idol" season comes around again.

(OBGS: Temptation is no longer in the "Coming Soon" section on Nine's website.  Guess that kills the last strand of hope for it coming back.)

I really think FOX will be airing the second season of "Truth" after "Idol" like it did last season.
