Game show talk & fun to pay respects
« on: August 14, 2008, 12:11:34 AM »
On tomorrow's broadcast of Game Show Talk & Fun, I want to offer those who were friends and family an opportunity to call the show, or leave any messages you wish to share about your memories of David.

The reason I'd like to offer this, is because it will give an opportunity to pay respects in a therapeutic way. If you can not call in, leave a message in this thread that you want read on the air.

For me, one comforting I can look back on...is Mr. Zinkin was very open to the opportunity to have a phonecall with me. We discussed passed times, and attitudes of some of our peers. My host, David Hammond wasn't exactly in the brightest light with him. However, it was comforting to know that Mr. Zinkin was acceptable to allow Hammond a second chance to reform himself within our community. And I think with Zinkin knowing Hammond was under my wing, it gave a good assurance to allow that opportunity. I will always thank Zinkin for that, to allow an opportunity to forgive.

It's going to be a sad time, but I think there are stories worth sharing to allow a chance to laugh and alleviate the pain from mourning. Who doesn't remember Moronionaire? But again, any of you who wish to call in tommorrow...we are going to leave the lines open.

UPDATE: We're gonna play one session of the "Who, What, or Where Game" to at least allow a chance to breathe.
