Pop 'N Rocker Game question

(1/1)

PeterMarshallFan:
Who was the announcer? He sounded a lot like Paul Boland.

zachhoran:
None other than the late, great Phil Hartman, yes, the same one from SNL and Newsradio. Hartman also announced one of the Scrabble pilots in 1984.

hiphats:
One thing I really hated about this show is that the contestants never got a chance to tell the audience about themselves....all sacrificed for a musical guest.

I don't know if the current version of \"Pyramid\" doesn't allow contestants to speak about themselves since I am not a regular viewer of it.

zachhoran:
Donny will occasionally, if time allows, talk to a contestant about something they mentioned to the coordinators in their bio. This is usually done before they play the WInner's Circle. If the game runs long due to tiebreakers, then that part is edited out.

ChuckNet:

...who was later replaced as P-N-R's announcer by MG Kelly.
