Game Show Reunion Week on Good Morning America
« on: August 14, 2008, 09:53:15 AM »
Of course I can't find anything on their website, but I just saw a promo promising "Play It Again: Game Show Reunion Week on GMA."  They mentioned three game shows that would be played on Good Morning America next week (starting Monday, 8/18/2008).

Mentioned in the promo was Let's Make A Deal with Monty Hall, The Newlywed Game with Bob Eubanks, and Gambit with Wink Martindale.

I just think it's kinda humorous that they get two shows that to this day, get regular airplay on GSN, and aired in various incarnations each decade. Then, you get...Gambit.

Unless there's a GSN tie-in, at which Gambit, obviously Catch 21 in disguise, meets the criteria for a 'reunion' week that Catch 21 doesn't.

Unless you want to reunite Alfonso with the thin pants he hasn't seen since his dancing days.

Wink has to host the Gambit special next week in order for the show to be even slightly recognized.

Well, no surprise on NG, and LMAD since they were ABC. Does Richard Dawson even appear in public anymore or not? That would have been a good one for them to do, just to piss off Big Al Roker if nothing else.

/ABC Celebrity Feud is way better than the NBC remake

Plus, "Gambit" never aired on ABC.  Give me Jim Peck and "The Big Showdown."
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Yeah, it would be nice to see Nick again.  Heck, he could even bring along his son. :)

Having seen and enjoyed Al Roker since his days as weatherman at Then-NBC owned WKYC-TV in Cleveland (1978-83)..Indications are that hes a pretty good guy on and off the air..I seriously doubt he would care at all..
