Wink Martindale question
« on: September 22, 2008, 01:12:40 AM »
I was watching GSN's "Play It Back: 90s Game Shows" with Caroline Rhea, and they had trivia questions going into and out of each commercial. One of them was how many game shows Wink Martindale hosted in 1994. The answer was four, but the names of the shows were not revealed, and I can't figure them out from Wink's IMDb entry (which may well be incomplete). What were they?

He hosted the FAM interactive games that year- Trivial Pursuit, Boggle, Jumble, and Shuffle, IIRC.

By the way, did they show anything decent for Play it Back: 90s?

The four shows Wink hosted in 1994 were Shuffle, Boggle, Jumble and Trivial Pursuit.  They all aired as part of The Family Channel's daytime game show block.

Brilliant.

Pacdude made it.  I take no credit for it.

This is what I want to do one of these days.  Complete with horns as well.

Thanks for the information.

I can't imagine that there was much on this special that would have intrigued most members of this board. But it is set to be repeated this Friday night and again on Saturday if you want to see for yourself.
