Is there anything elegant about Chris hitting Carrie Ann? ;-)

There's a bad MG question in there somewhere...
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

Well, I was wrong on one thing...It's not the first of the new fall shows to get axed...

\I'd feel sorry for Jerry O'Connell, but he's got Rebecca Romijn to go home to....

Well, that sure didn't take long.

Is Reno 911! still in production?

To give you an idea of the kind of buzz it created: I didn't even know it existed until I read just now that it had been canned.

Wait a Minute...

FOX is the first network to cancel a bad show in a new fall season!?!?!?

This from the same network that aired/airs stuff like "The War at Home" and "American Dad" years after their shelf life expired??

Fox...Murdoch...baby, you're slipping!!!

You really don't know what you're talking about, do you?

Kinda hard to pass judgment like that on a pair of shows (one which I cut out) that have/were only on for 2 or 3 years (going on 4 with AD!).

Sure he does.  He's talking about his opinion.  He thinks the mustard slipped off the hot dog on those shows and he's entitled.

Just out of curiosity, why was The War at Home replaced with an ellipsis?

The ellipsis got better ratings.

I don't think I'll be watching "Opportunity Knocks" again any time soon--unless, say, a family of my acquaintance are the contestants.  It was cute enough, but without a personal connection, there's just not enough interest.

I will say, though, I rather liked the "would you like to buy this [otherwise priceless] prize, using some of your winnings?" gimmick.  Not enough to build a show on, but it was clever.

It's not his opinion, but his incredibly loose grasp of time, that gets me.

I didn't even think 2 years was enough time FOR a shelf life...

I think that's his point.  The show was over as soon as it began.

The Aussies seem to dig that sort of thing.
