The only thing in my opinion that made season 1 barely watchable was the relentless focus on whatever interpersonal relationships the contestants had. It took way too much time away from the most entertaining part of the show.

If you're gonna advertise yourself as a goofy Japanese-style stunt show, be a goofy Japanese-style stunt show.

That being said, here's hoping the powers that be saw what I saw.
