Now You See It query

Does anybody have an original air date for the episode which aired last night, Wed. 10/8?  I'm assuming it's a Monday episode since Jack welcomed Johnny Olsen back.  I would like to save the episode which originally aired on the day I was born, which happened to be a Monday in early 1975.  Any help is appreciated.

I wonder if there is a NYSI Episode Guide out there on the web somewhere. I've done some searches on some search engines and the results have come up futile...unless there is something I've overlooked.

Good.  In that case, this Wednesday's episode will be my keeper.  Thanks for the info.

The last show was June 13, 1975, so we're looking at about 3 1/2 more months.

NYSI is the only show I watch nightly. When I record them to DVD, I name them by putting the airdate in the "title" field on the disc menu. It became a lot easier to keep track of when the New Year's Eve show came up, and I remember Gene Wood announced the first 3 weeks from February of 1975. Seeing as Jack welcomed Johnny O. back to the show, that was therefore week #4 of February, which would make that Monday's show February 24.

Sorry that was so long-winded. :)

Ryan :)

So I gather then that there's no chance you could have somewhere between 112 and 122 episodes? It's either 111 or 123?

In that case, I have 1 or 39 episodes of "The Diamond Head Game" in my collection. No matter which number it is, I'm not proud of it (though I don't mind looking at Jane Nelson from time to time).

Evidently, their tapings didn't cover a calendar week. In the show that aired overnight Monday (that is, at 2:30 a.m. ET Tuesday), Jack mentions that it's their second year, which makes it April 1. (He also made a reference that identified the St. Patrick's Day show as such.)

Why haven't you made a Classix video about Now You See It yet?

Keeping up with NYSI, all I can say is "June Shafer, the contestant who wouldn't go away!!!".

I mean how many chances does one contestant get without hitting the bonus board AND keeps benefiting from the fact that when she loses the contestant hits the board and enables her to come back and keep losing the bonus rounds?    I don't think there's any contestant who compares to her because at least the ones who kept losing the Winners Circle on Pyramid in the NY days didn't have the luxury of being able to come back after losing main games.
